Terms and Conditions
Promotion Overview
This promotion gives eligible retail borrowers a chance to win a Caribbean vacation for two (2) when they:
- Purchase a new vehicle from Massy Motors Ltd. (“Massy Motors”) and
- Finance the purchase of that vehicle through a loan with Massy Finance GFC Ltd. (“Massy Finance”) during the promotional period (as defined below).
How to Enter
To qualify for entry:
- Purchase a new vehicle from Massy Motors and finance it with a loan from Massy Finance during the Promotional Period.
- The loan must be approved and disbursed within the Promotional Period.
- Once your loan has been disbursed, a Massy Finance representative will provide you with one (1) electronic entry form.
- Complete and submit the entry form to confirm your participation in the promotion.
Please note:
- Only one (1) entry per loan is permitted.
- Each new vehicle purchased and financed during the Promotional Period qualifies for a single entry.
By submitting the form, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Eligibility
This promotion is open only to legal residents of Trinidad and Tobago, aged 18 years or older, who:
- Purchase a new vehicle from Massy Motors and
- Finance that vehicle through an auto loan with Massy Finance during the Promotional Period.
Ineligible Persons
The following persons are not eligible:
- Employees of Massy Finance, its subsidiaries, parent company and promotional agencies used by Massy Finance.
- Immediate family members of Massy Finance employees.
- Corporate or commercial borrowers, including but not limited to Sole Traders, Self Employed, Partnerships & Limited Liability Companies.
- Customers with inactive or closed accounts.
- Entries that do not meet the eligibility criteria.
- Customers who do not have a valid passport with at least six (6) months’ validity beyond the travel dates
Note:
- Massy Finance’s decision regarding eligibility and qualification is final.
Promotional Period
- Start Date: Wednesday 15th October, 2025 at 12:00 p.m.
- End Date: Thursday 15th January, 2026 at 11:59 p.m.
- Draw Date: Thursday 22nd January, 2026 at 12:00 p.m.
- Winner Announcement: Saturday 31st January, 2026 at 2:00 p.m.
Void Entries
Entries will be void if they:
- Do not comply with these terms and conditions.
- Are incomplete, inaccurate or illegible.
- Are suspected or found to involve fraudulent activity.
- Relate to loans that are delinquent or in default at Massy Finance.
Please note:
- Massy Finance may request proof of age, residency, or eligibility.
- Failure to provide the requested proof within a reasonable time may result in disqualification or forfeiture of the prize.
Grand Prize
A Caribbean vacation for two (2) persons to any one (1) of the following countries: Grenada, St. Lucia or Antigua, including:
- Two (2) roundtrip airline tickets from Trinidad to any one (1) of the following countries: Grenada, St.Lucia or Antigua (Caribbean Airlines Lite Fare)
- Four (4) nights and five (5) days accommodation for two at an all-inclusive resort in any one (1) of the following countries: Grenada, St.Lucia or Antigua
- All meals and beverages included under the hotel’s “All Inclusive” package
- Ground transfers between the airport and hotel in any one (1) of the following countries: Grenada, St.Lucia or Antigua
Travel Dates:
- The date of departure flight to any one (1) of the following countries: Grenada, St.Lucia or Antigua and return flight to Trinidad must occur between April, 2026 to May, 2026, at the sole discretion of Massy Finance.
Total Prize Value: Up to USD$4,000.00
*The Prize cannot be exchanged for cash or credit, is non-transferable and must be accepted as awarded. The Prize must be used only by the named winner and one (1) companion.
*Massy Finance reserves the right to select the destination country, hotel and details of the package including but not limited to, room selection and all-inclusive package, travel dates and any other details of the trip required at the time of booking or thereafter.
*Massy Finance reserves the right to change details of grand prize trip, subject to availability.
Exclusions and Additional Costs
Any costs or expenses incurred by the winner or their guest not mentioned in these Terms and Conditions are not included in the prize. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Transportation to and from the airport in Trinidad.
- Visa fees, passport renewal, or courier costs.
- Travel insurance, medical expenses, vaccinations.
- Room service, in-room mini-bar, laundry, phone calls, or hotel incidentals.
- Sightseeing, excursions, or extra activities.
- Tips, gratuities, baggage fees, and other personal expenses.
- Costs incurred due to changes in travel plans, such as rebooking fees or cancellation penalties.
- Meals or beverages outside of the all-inclusive package.
- Any upgrades or add-ons requested by the winner.
Cancellation: If the winner cancels the trip for any reason, Massy Finance bears no liability, and no refunds, credits, or substitutions will be provided.
Massy Finance is not responsible for providing assistance with services outside of those explicitly stated as part of the prize
Winner Selection
- One (1) winner will be randomly selected via an electronic randomizer tool.
- Five (5) backup winners will also be drawn in order of succession.
- Only one prize will be awarded.
Travel Period:
All travel must take place between April 2026 and May 2026. Specific travel dates – including departure, return, and resort stay – will be determined at the sole discretion of Massy Finance.
Notification and Claiming of Prize
- The winner will be announced on Massy Finance’s website and social media pages.
- Massy Finance will attempt to contact the winner using the details provided in the entry, up to five (5) times within five (5) business days after the draw.
- If contact is unsuccessful, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to the next backup winner.
To claim the prize, the winner must provide within five (5) days of notification:
- Valid national identification (passport, driver’s licence, or ID card).
- Passport with at least six (6) months’ validity beyond the travel dates.
- Signed Prize Acceptance and Release Form.
- Signed Loan Agreement with Massy Finance.
- Proof of purchase for the new vehicle from Massy Motors.
- Valid credit card in the winner’s name for incidental hotel charges.
- The winner must ensure that all travel requirements for themselves and their guest are met.
- Failure to comply will result in forfeiture of the prize and selection of a new winner.
Publicity and Data Privacy
- Personal information will be used to process entries and contact participants. For details, see our Privacy Policy at https://massyfinance.com/privacy-policy/
- The winner will be required to participate in promotional activities or publicity related to the promotion without additional compensation.
- All personal data collected will be handled in accordance with the Data Protection Act of Trinidad and Tobago and Massy Finance’s Privacy Policy. Data will be used solely for administering the promotion and may be shared with third parties as required.
Force Majeure
Massy Finance shall not be liable for failure or delay in performing its obligations under these terms and conditions where such failure arises due to events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, or governmental restrictions.
General Terms
- Massy Finance reserves the right, subject to the approval of the NLCB to:
- Modify, suspend or terminate the promotion at any time.
- Disqualify any individual at its sole discretion without notice.
- Amend the terms and conditions of the promotion.
- Massy Finance makes no representation or warranty regarding the quality or fitness of the prize and shall not be liable for any injury, loss or damage arising out of participation in the promotion, acceptance of the prize and use of the prize.
Disputes
Massy Finance’s decision in all matters pertaining to this promotion shall be final and binding. This promotion and any disputes arising under it shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
